Gemma Collins replaced by Loose Women star after leaving Chicago

Loose Women panelist Brenda Edwards was officially announced as Gemma Collins’ replacement in the musical Chicago.

Edwards will play prison guard Mama Morton, the same character she played in her West End debut back in 2007. She will join the cast for dates in June and July in Sunderland, Cardiff, Blackpool, Sheffield, Norwich and Oxford before leaving the . production on July 23rd.

She will star alongside fellow actors Lee Mead (Billy Flynn), Faye Brookes (Roxie Hart), Djalenga Scott (Velma Kelly), Jamie Baughan (Amos Hart) and BE Wong (Mary Sunshine).

Edwards’ news of joining the musical comes a month after her return to the panel Loose Women after free time to mourn her son Jamal Edwards, who passed away in February this year.
