The presenter revealed back in April that he would be leaving the daytime quiz show, facing the series alongside Alexander Armstrong since 2009.
The BBC has now announced its impressive host of guests ready to fill the gap after its release, including former Crown Street star Sally Lindsay, Task leaderis Ed Gamble and The Last Stageis Alex Brooker.
Also joined by BBC Radio 6 Music presenter Lauren Laverne, The Split star Stephen Mangan and former Blue Peter and Xtra Factor presenter Konnie Huq.
Armstrong said: “This is going to be such a trip! Richards will still be coming once a week on Saturday to make sure everything goes well, but otherwise it’s just me bringing new ones. Simple friends in and showing them the ropes.
“Lots of new and fun personalities on the desk next to me. I can’t wait.”
Sally added: “As everyone knows I LOVE a game show and being asked to sit in Richard Osman’s sanctified chair is beyond exciting! Can’t wait to be idle.”
Speaking when he announced his departure, Osman confirmed: “After 13 wonderful years, I’m leaving during the day. Simple, focus on writing. Will still do the celebrity shows and House of Games.
“It was the GREATest pleasure and I can’t wait to start watching as a spectator. Thank you all!”
He added: “I will miss the whole team, especially the incomparable @XanderArmstrong.
“Thanks to everyone watching, it really was a dream come true, and I know the show will continue to go from strength to strength.”
