ITV Corrie’s Georgia Taylor worlds away from Toyah drama in beloved snaps with a rarely seen partner

Spectators last saw her slumped at the wheel of a car after a horrific crash but that of Coronation Street Toyah Habeeb star could not be further from the drama. Actress Georgia Taylor has played the character in the ITV soap in and out since 1997.

Over the years she has been involved in many major plots and another biggie is literally on her way. During Tuesday night’s trip to Weatherfield, Corrie fans saw Toyah and her new husband Imran unconscious in their car after a non-screened crash, leaving them completely confused.

It comes when the newly married couple is fighting Abi Franklin for custody of her and Imran’s son, Alfie. As the week began, viewers saw a lightning-forward from Imran leave a scary message for Toyah in which he revealed everything he had done, lying to the court about Abi using drugs again to get his way.

We later followed the shocking consequences of Imran’s lies, which included Abi trying to make a run to Costa Rica with her son before being caught by the lawyer and now a terrible crash that left both of their lives hanging in the balance.

But with the soap being filmed in advance, Georgia left the UK for a holiday so couldn’t be further from what happens to her on-screen character.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday night (May 31), Georgia re-shared a post from its rarely seen partner, Mark Letheren. The actor, who is also an avid photographer, shared a photo of the couple enjoying the son in Madeira. In the couple’s click, Georgia was seen with a big smile on her face as they sat down for some refreshments.

Toyah and Imran were involved in a crash on Coronation Street

Her eyes were covered with a pair of turtleneck glasses while Mark, who starred as journalist Simon Kitson in the ITV drama The Bill and played adviser Ben Harding on BBC One’s Casualty, smiled as he took the photo while also wearing a pair of sunglasses and keeping. his longer ones lock out of the way with a hat.

Mark later returned to the social media platform to share another favorite image of the couple. Again, Georgia couldn’t erase the smile on her face as she threw her arm around her long-time companion, who gave her a beak on the cheek.

Wigan-born Georgia teased its trip away last week. The actress was inundated with compliments from her Corrie co-stars as she prepared for a “vacation” by paying for a trip to the salon. “Hair is ready for the holidays! Earlier this month, Lorraine Kelly was left to apologize to Georgia Taylor after an accidental marriage slip when she appeared on her self-titled ITV show. The soap opera was available to chat with Lorena about her current plot along with Imran Habeeb actor Charlie De Melo.
