Jennifer Aniston makes a rare comment about Brad Pitt’s divorce in the Ellen Show finale

Jennifer Aniston touched on her divorce from Brad Pitt on the final episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, as the couple recalled their first interview in 2003.

The Ellen DeGeneres Show ended today after nineteen years, nineteen seasons and over three thousand episodes.

Ellen DeGeneres was emotional during her last interview show episode on Thursday, which also saw appearances by Billie Eilish, and P! Nk.

Jennifer’s inclusion is a fitting tribute after the Friends actress was the first guest on the show when it first hit screens in 2003.

The finale, which marks the 20th time Jennifer appeared in the NBC studio, saw her talk about her divorce and decision to enter therapy after Friends ended.

Jennifer, adorned with BaubleBar rings paired with a pair of Et Ochs and Saint Laurent sandals, sat down with Ellen after the couple shared a long hug, asking, “Where are 19-year-olds going? I don’t understand.”

Looking back, Ellen asked, “What do you remember? I remember very well that you were on the first show.”

She continued, “I want to talk about the end of Friends – what did you do to deal with it?”

Speaking sincerely, Jennifer said, “Well, I got divorced and went into therapy.

“Then I made a movie called The Break Up. I just bowed to the end. Let’s make this a whole new chapter. Finish everything and start. And it worked great. “

Jennifer then turned the questions on Ellen, asking her if she knew what she wanted to do next now her long-running show was over.

Ellen replied, “I want to rest for a while. I want to rest and then I’ll do something again, but I don’t know what it is. ”

For the past two decades, the 64-year-old show host has interviewed the most famous people in the world and entertained millions around the world with his humorous sketches.

In recent weeks, she has been chatting with likes of Oprah Winfrey, Mila Kunis, Justin Timberlake, Zac Efron and Bruno Mars.

Earlier in the last show, Ellen was left overwhelmed as she walked through the NBC studio for her final dance with Stephen “tWitch” Boss on the daytime show.

As she entered, Ellen burst into tears as the audience cheered and the facts of the show’s conclusion seemed to strike.

She told fans in a voice full of emotion: “This show has changed my life forever. It’s the greatest experience I’ve ever had.”

Her show subsided fire in 2020, when allegations of a toxic workplace environment surfaced on the cast, and Ellen herself was allegedly at the center of a number of complaints about her “bad” behavior.

A BuzzFeed report included current and former employees who complained of alleged harassment behind the scenes, prompting an internal investigation of the Warner Bros. show.

Findings indicated “some flaws in the day-to-day running of the show” and in September 2020, Ellen herself apologized for things “that should never have happened”.

In May last year, the star announced that The Ellen DeGeneres Show will end in 2021, after it ends its 19th season.
