Lucy said HELLO before! Magazine that she was convinced she was pregnant with a girl, and was thrilled when a scan confirmed her suspicions.
– I felt like I had a girl, but I was a little more insecure than at Roman. With him I only knew – I don’t know why but even before we found out, I said, “I know, one hundred percent, it’s a boy,” Lucy said.
The couple also revealed in the interview that they are struggling to come up with names for their daughter, explaining how they had a long list of 15 chosen but will wait until she is born to decide,
Happy for them: a bunch of celebrities including Olivia Attwood and Lucy Jo Hudson sent congratulatory messages
She had previously recounted how their little boy spent a week in intensive care last September after Lucy found the two-year-old “blue in her bed”.
Even though Lucy and Ryan were allowed to take him home a week after he was admitted, Roman later had regular checkups, and results marked that fluid entered the car’s lungs whenever he drank.
Confessing that it was a conclusion she felt was “really weird”, she continued: “I’m sorry for Roman. Now, from Monday, when we take the thickener, he can’t have thin fluids for a long enough time – maybe years.
– So no licks and ice creams, no water or juice. Everything has to be really thick consistency to prevent it from getting into his lungs.
‘But we have an answer. Maybe it’s not the full picture, I still don’t know because we haven’t seen his adviser, but it’s something. ‘
If too much fluid builds up and presses on the lungs, it can be difficult for the lungs to fully expand. In some situations, part or all of the lung will collapse.
She concluded: “It’s a step forward and it’s something we can deal with and it’s something that will hopefully keep him from getting so sick. It’s kind of positive, because we’re a little closer to the answer. ‘
This isn’t the first time Lucy has given a candid health update, as last November, Lucy burst into tears as she reflected on her son Roman’s horrific stint in hospital.
Speaking on the Sweat, Mucus and Tears podcast Lucy said, “I heard kind of growls at 3 in the morning and how I think we all do if they don’t sound like it’s a big scream and they hurt, you think,“ Well, they just have. a little dream. ‘
Families: The couple are now the parents of two-year-old son Roman – and Ryan, 37, is the father of 13-year-old Scarlett because of his relationship with Tina O’Brien.
She revealed that when she checked the baby monitor an hour later, something “didn’t feel right”:
‘He moved very slowly, side by side, and I thought,’ This doesn’t feel right, and I want to go see him. ”
It was then that she found Roman “blue in his bed” and he was rushed to Basildon Hospital and St Mary’s in London.
Speaking of the staff, Lucy was thrilled as she said, ‘They were absolutely amazing and I have to thank them and the ambulance service for arriving so quickly, for keeping my son here and it’s really emotional to talk about that. ‘
Her son was diagnosed with a “virus-induced hiss” and now requires an inhaler twice a day.
Parents: In March, Lucy updated fans on the health of her son Roman, revealing that he has fluid in his lungs.
She added: “I don’t really know this, but Roman was born ten days before Covid and because he was kept so isolated – literally isolated for six months – he didn’t have a chance to fight viruses.
“When he was in the hospital, the test came back that he had six viruses, so what looked to me like a mucous nose was six viruses, so that’s what his little body had to fight and maybe that’s why he was so bad and got to the stage of need a fan.
‘But it does make you wonder if he was in a normal world at first, if he would be able to fight those viruses.’
