Super Micro Computer introduces new systems for edge computing

Enterprise computing, storage, networking technology company Super Micro Computer unveils SuperEdge and a range of systems based on Intel Xeon D processors with up to 20 cores, 25GbE network built-in, boasting a temperature of -40 ° C to 85 ° C.

Super Microcomputer says these systems are optimized for the Smart Edge, where responsive systems are needed that reduce latency.

“Our newest systems are designed for harsh conditions with the highest performance CPUs and GPUs available. Supermicro has the unique ability to quickly deliver industry-optimized solutions from the edge to the data center using our Building Block Solution approach,” asserts Super. President and CEO of Micro Computer Karlo Liang.

Super Micro Computer also introduces updated versions of the popular one IP65 Outdoor Edge system and the Hyper-E product linesall of which are designed with the Intel Xeon CPU and various form factors.

These systems are all applications optimized for computing and computing at the edge and available worldwide.

Edge systems include the Intel Xeon CPUs, including the Intel Xeon D family and the 3rd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors. With these CPUs built in, Super Micro Computer servers produce more work per watt of electricity.
